Nice...what a good bedtime present for me.

Dang....that was awesome.

Looks like it's going to be an emotional tale.

The animations on the creature were nice. I like the small details. The way the reflected sunlight turns the creatures eyes orange and the way his ears flick and move.

The boy's character model has the least amount of detail in the trailer for some reason. Even the knight guarding the creatures lair is far more detailed. I'm sure that will change, unless there is some specific reason for it.

Anyone notice how the water effected the creatures feathers/fur at the end?

the buy reminded me the kid from Jungle Book

Yea the light reflecting off the water looked cool.

I really liked the animation of the creature. Especially how it twitched when the boy jumped off his head.

**utterly speechless**

Playing and finishing games first>>>>>>>>>>Then talking!

Opinions are subjective and just like moods, can change.

TOP 12: Deus Ex, Shadow Man, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturn, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, Metroid Prime, Zelda (series), Uncharted (series), FF Tactics, Persona (series), Demons Souls, Vagrant Story.

MOST WANTED: Deus Ex: Human Revolution, The Last Guardian, ICO/Shadow OTC HD

Sucks that the game was announced with such little fanfare, and that it was finally unveiled with extremely old footage. I'm sure the game has a title by now, even if nothing else has changed.

Anywho, some posts from gaf:

This is old footage, very old.

This is just that test footage. All it confirms is that the game exists (duh!), and that it features a boy and a birdrat colossus that aids him.

The Music is from MILLER'S CROSSING, a 1990's Coen Brothers movie. Just a placeholder.

I bet Sony had big things in store for this game at either E3 or TGS.  This site kinda ruined that by jumping the gun.  =/

*glares at music* ...but yea I wonder why they decided to show it so randomly...my guest is they want to show the b4 and after, with after at E3 or TGS

My good mood has been dashed by Makingmusic's post.... I really hope they announce the game and show something from it at e3.

That's okay, watching the video again has made me happy once more.

I could be wrong, but if you take a look @2:13- It gives a side view of the creatures head. It's fur/feathers appear shiny and dry. Then skip ahead to @3:36- The creatures feathers appear to be drooping and are darker in tone, as though they are wet.

I'm beginning to think it's just the camera angle or lighting playing tricks though, as if this is indeed very early footage, I have my doubts that level of detail or effects would have been achieved yet.
