The reveal trailer did not announce any platforms at all. So the possibility of it being on the Wii is still there.

i dont think it's coming to wii, if u go to the site, at the top right corner u'll see preorder for pc, x360, ps3. that i' think pretty much confirms not coming to wii.

off-topic but just saw the trailer - AMAZING. Those missions sure look exicting to play. I was watching the basketball game and the trailer looked even more amazing.

I can say this, but I do not believe this game will come to the Wii. It has already sold more than 10 mil combined on ps3, 360, and pc. So the formula is already set, you dont need another platform. Its like halo, you already have enough money and u need more of it to be released.

 

Then why would Infinity Ward need help for Wii development or even make the CoD4 engine on Wii to begin with? <_<

What does Infinity Ward > Treyarch have to do with anything?  Infinity Ward wanted to put CoD4 on Wii so they made the engine for Wii, the engine wasn't optimized in time to make a Wii build of the game so it was handed over to Treyarch for W@W, they developed W@W, sold a million units, now IW is back making MW2 and have a nice engine to use on Wii, IW was hiring developers for Wii and there's insiders on these forums saying they've talked with IW... what else do you want?

It most likely is coming to Wii. Probably DS, too.

I don't see how anyone could care about those version after seeing the new trailer, though. This game looks too epic to be wasted in SD :/

Yeah I probably will too, I'll probably still be playing the Conduit on my Wii anyway for my FPS fix.

I'm starting to believe this game is not coming to the Wii.

Then I have that other thought in my head, World at War last year for the Wii wasn't announced until a little after the HD versions.

I hope to god this game is coming to all platforms.

CoD:WaW was announced on June 23, 2008 for HD consoles and PC. The Wii iteration was not advertised until E3 almost 3 weeks later.

I mentioned earlier in this thread that Call of Duty: World at War was announced June 9th, 2008 for the Wii at the same time it was for the other systems.  E3 2008 didn't happen until the month after that.

Let's assume HD+epic=win thus we'd have:

Okami, Shadow of the Colossus, MGS3, FFX, WindWaker =/= win
