They just released Free Realms (most likely will be talked about at e3 because it's supposed to transition to the PS3.

Also, they are working The Agency I believe. If either DC Universe or The Agency released on the PS3 this year, I'd die of excitement but I think they both got pushed back to next year....

 

 

Yeah, DCUniverse is something im def looking forward too, im wondering if they will have a showing of the 3 NCSoft PS3 exclusive MMO's that are supposed to be coming out sometime soon.

PS3's NCSoft EXCLUSIVES FOR CHRISTMAS 09 CONFIRMDED ?!?! haha

Oh yeah! I forgot all about NCSoft's PS3 MMO's! I hope they show up soon!

Sony Online Entertainment basically functions as an autonomous division. Further more their floor space is actually in relation to their foot traffic. Community games need to have space to cover attendance. Remember it isn't just the media they will probably be having a number of community members attending. So for them it will not be an in the door out the door affair. They are going to have a large number of people milling about their space for hours.

Community gaming is an entirely different type of presentation from typical console gaming. They are going to probably be hosting question and answer sessions with members. They will need walls of terminals, and they are going to be handling members from over half a dozen games. Basically the space is an absolute must. The space is such an issue that many online game operators have their own events. Even for a single game.

Bottom line do not read anything into Sony Online Entertainment having a big section. Were Microsoft or Nintendo to have massive online gaming divisions they too would have huge sections. You just cannot cram over a hundred people for three or four hours into a tight little box. Those normally civilized people would just begin to eat one another. Especially since it is not unheard of for them to arrive drunk.

Of course sony has a bigger space I mean the PS3 is so huge that they need alot more space then Nintendo since the Wii is what? 1/5 th of a PS3

Thats subjective as well, Microsoft will also be showing a few MMO games that will be coming to their consoles as well, so by your theory a large chunk of their already predetermined space will be taken up as well ? Thus still giving Sony the edge in size of space available. Nothing is definitive yet but at the same time allot can still happen, bottom line is Sony has a LARGE amount of space reserved so I suppose we will see when E3 comes along.
