Klonoa was just a remake, so people already knew what they were getting. It was around 6 hours and started off at $29.99, so you can't complain.

This Terminator game is full priced, and can be completed in one standard (in my case) sitting. Start the game when I get home from school and finish it before dinner time? No thanks.

I finished House of the Dead: Overkill in less than 2 1/2 hours and was drunk most of the time so I imagine you could finish it in shorter.

It's not so much lazy devs but probably short development cycle.  Instead 8 hours of crap they give you 4 hours of good.  Do they at least have multiplayer to add to it a little?

 

Who plays on-rails shooters for 8 hours straight anyways? I don't think length was the point. I haven't played a single one in my lifetime that lasted more than three hours Twesterm. I played HOTD 3 and got to the last boss in 45 minutes.

 

You being mad about that was like when I was mad that L4D was only 2 hours. Little did I know I only played one episode.....

Dang I can watch the terminator movie twice and that'll be the lenth I'll finish. And its Full PRICE! That's crazy.might as well as buy superman 64 higher than the they pay you to get it.

It's also not really getting good reviews either. I'm just going to stick to the movie...assuming I even choose to see that.

oh and portal was made by a group of students using the Hl engine as an university project later valve let then include the game in the OB, students not professional, so is ok it was kind of a series of bonus levels

 

Just to be clear, you do know that I wasn't attacking Portal right?

Portal is an amazing game and one of my favorites of the generation.  I pointed it out as a counterexample to the possibility of Terminator being a new game length record holder.  Portal probably isn't the shortest either honestly.

The last sentence "So not a record but certainly very crappy for a single offerring." was in reference to Terminator Salvation as indicated by at least 2 context clues.

I'm only going off of what I've heard about the game, if you already know it's a bad game then why do you actually care?

 

because been fun or not is really subjetive but been short is objetive, so if the game is lets say 12 hours long but not so fun there will still be people willing to buy it that find it fun, but a 4 hours long game is just shame less

Thats almost as bad as madworlds longevity (but we all know madworld is better than any half assed movie game tie in) They didnt even make a wii verison which is an insult to me cause (as a wii only owner).

the movie is one of the must watch movies for me this year (i just watched Star Trek which was awsome but im not a trekkie/er.
