Most of them said BB control not good as they expect ,but i really don't know this because they didn't take enough time to get use to it first or they got poor physical movement.(Or BB control actually bad)

To solve this problem i think i'll try it myself when i received this game.

I'll report the result later. :)

Good enough for me. I'm gonna pick it up once my mom returns. xD

Well, the IGN review was telling: you can push buttons much faster and more easily than you can shift weight and throw punches. And video games are designed with that in mind. Even though the balance board and the wiimote are pretty good for punch out, there will still be times when they punch even though you don't want them to or when they punch a little late.

My approach is that I will generally play the game with the controller sideways, but once I've gone through it, I might play using the balance board and motion for fun. Or when I have friends over and we've had a few drinks we might do that and laugh at each other.

It's a pretty sweet bonus.

IGN said

The game controls in a variety of ways: either with the nunchuk or without. Using the nunchuk turns on motion controls: punching is handled via thrusting the left or right hand while dodging, blocking, ducking and changing high and low hits is all mapped to the analog stick. When you earn Star Punches by hitting the opponent at strategic moments you can activate these special moves with a tap on a button. You can choose to use the Wii Fit balance board to dodge and duck by leaning or thrusting downwards, but the less said about this option, the better. I will say that it's nice that the developers made it easy to disable it after you've enabled it, because it's just a control device that doesn't work for the quick responses that Punch-Out requires.

Because the game mimics pretty much the entire NES design, Punch-Out!! is best played without the nunchuk. Without the plug-in peripheral you hold the Wii remote like an NES controller, with the 1 and 2 buttons handling the punches, the D-pad taking care of the dodges and ducks, and the big fat A button used to activate any earned Star Punches. While motion control might seem like a good idea against weaklings like Glass Joe, once you get higher in the rankings you'll find that button presses are far more responsive than Wii Remote/Nunchuk thrusts…even if they feel more like actual punches do.

EMULATION is the past.....NOW.......B_E_L_I_E_V_E

Yeah ,i already read that too and totally agree that body movement will never faster than your fingers.
But i really want to know if we take time using BB ,will the result be better or not?(If it works that way then it mean how hard/easy playing this game with BB is up to your body. And shouldn't blame that BB responsive is bad.)

Like i play First step of Revolution(Hajimeteno Ippo Revolution) you can just waggle your wiimote in easy to win the champion ,but this thing will never happen in hard mode.

Something like that i not sure i use the correct comparison or not. :P

However other than BB control it seems almost everyone love it ,which is great. :)

IGN's review is "don't waggle" "press buttons".... that for every wii game...
of course they won't like the BB controls.

about BB... it's pretty responsive, so if people complain, maybe it's because the game is not well configured for it...

Yeah, i wouldn't exactly trust reviewers on this. Between them, they prefer the GameCube/Classic controls for Brawl and Mario Kart Wii (rather outrageous in the latter context, really), so for them to say that "waggle is worse" really doesn't faze me.

I could imagine Balance Board controls being slow, but thats merely an issue of the human body.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
