this what i think anyway i mean i have talked to allot of owners of both consoles and tell me the same that modern warfare 2 is going to be more exciting.

I consider myself to be a pretty inbetween guy on both those. I still want MAG, Alan Wake, and Monster Hunter 3 more. I do agree though a lot of people want the new Modern Warfare. Maybe this is something we can stop bickering about.....either that or it's going to lead to Modern Warfare plays so much better on X console then XX console.

On 360 at least Halo 3 owns Modern Warfare.

And ODST will own MW2.

COD has a great name, but on 360 alone more people bought and play Halo 3. :)

I feel really odd that I could care less about this game...

Modern Warfare is an incredible game, and surprisingly plays as good as it looks. It is also the "Hardcore IT" game of the generation. Sort of like what GTA was last gen. I mean Halo comes close, but I think that people who don't like or care about the XBOX don't care at all about Halo because I have never once seen a PS3 fanboy ever say they wish they had it.

Pretty much true based on the last chart i read. Halo ODST was the most anticipated by two metrics among 360 games, while i think it was Gran Turismo 5 or God of War III on top for PS3, but in both cases, Modern Warfare 2 was in second

It was even fairly high-ranked among Wii owners, despite the fact that there hasn't been any confirmation one way or the other.

I look forward to Modern Warfare 2 more than Halo 4 and Killzone 3 combined.

Totally depends on what games you like. If your into superhero games, most PS3 owners would pick InFamous over Prototype. But if Resistance 3 came out, I don't know if they would pick that over Modern Warfare 2. I would pick 'm both, but I would like Modern Warfare 2 more.... BUT if you don't like FPS's at all, then you may pick exclusives over that one.
