First time since week of Feb 6 2006, Sony hardware as a whole tops Nintendo hardware. 

For Shame. Nintendo need to take heed at this and get the Wii out of the Rut of No 3rd Party Games!!!

It's the DS all over again!

Interesting, the MC and Famitsu numbers are very similar. Thats actually somewhat unusual from what I can remember.

 I wouldn't worry too much. UNLESS it continues this way for a few more weeks..

Is the DS all over again exactly a bad thing, considering thats the fastest selling gaming device of all time?

Thank god PSP + FFCC is selling so good; FFCC is an excellent game; too bad it's outsold by Pokemon.

I dont think so. 

The DS was pretty low in the first 6 months and even outsold by PSP, wich is not the case with Wii and PS3. As soon as PS3 outsells Wii (excluding MGS4, FFXIII weeks of course) then I'll be worried.

 Well, the DS did drop down below 25K a number of times there even with it being sucessful in japan to start with.  But then again, your Comparing Numbers and $$$ between hand held and consoles where as I was comparing situations between the 2, (Lack of 3rd party support led to slower sales after a great lauch period - then 3rd P's signed up after time) - Sales took off and hit the roof.

 I expect the same to happen with the Wii. But then that's just my opinion. And Yes, I do aggree that the current sales of the Wii are horrid and should be much much higher for it to really be successful.
