This game will pass completely unnoticed in such a crowded genre, especially since it's only released through digital download. Also, it's a remake of an old ass game, BF1942 from 2002, just with fewer players in the battles for a smoother experience.

So the thread title is indeed quite laughable when we're comparing a 10 million seller to a what, a 100,000 seller? lol!

The game even has just 3 maps, so that alone hints that this is a minor release.

This game is going to be AMAZING!!!! it's out tomorrow (8th June 2009) on xbox live for 1200 points (and also on psn), early figures suggest it will sell a million over the weekend across both platforms,

The game is going to be huge, xbox are plugging it non stop, got my points ready and waiting!

And why are people comparing this game to Modern Warefare 2? this game is out tomorrow, months before MW2 is out, this is going head to head against COD: WAW and is great having a new game that is guranteed to do well.

Seriously looks and amazing game and being online only means you will always find loads of matches etc.

Battlefield 1942 is already out for PC only. Battlefield 1943 is on PC/PS3/XBOX 360.
