^ im pretty sure its already getting there. L4D = 2.5 million shipped PC + 360 KZ2 = ? shipped but at least i know 1.1million in europe.

You have to remember that Left 4 Dead is made on the 5 year old Source engine and only has 4 levels. Its also multiplayer only. Im guessing Left 4 Dead cost around $2 million -$5 million dollars to make.  After about 500k, Left 4 Dead was all profits for Valve.  Killzone 2 is probably still in the Red big time. Left 4 Dead is also at about 2.9 million sell through across PC and Xbox 360. 2.2 million on the Xbox 360 alone. This does NOT include Steam downloads.

not too bad but it will be a long time before it reaches 2 million, and it wont have any holiday help with MF2 coming.

I still don't get you people, you need to stop just looking at the number and calling it a failure. This is a month where the 10th highest game only sold 91k. It's very slow this time of year, Killzone still has life in it.

The same can be said for Halo 3..but with much more credebility

You talk about Halo 3 like it is normal, when really, it is the exception.

Why is Halo 3 an exception?.....

Because it is still selling strong...

For whatever reasons you want to give, it is still selling strongly, while shooters like Fallout 3, Gears of War 2,  Riddick, Wanted, etc. are falling off the charts. You can't compare Halo 3 to Killzone 2, as if every game released over a year ago is still selling strongly meaning there is something wrong with Killzone 2. That is like saying Forza or Gran Turismo bomb when Mario Kart Wii beats them in it's 2nd year on the market, it shouldn't be done.

Errmmm.....What?

Sorry...But I still don't get why Halo 3 is an exception..Just seems like your a Ps3 fanboy that does not want to realize that Halo 3 is a must own FPS

...What the hell are you talking about? I never said anything bad about Halo 3, and even said, "For whatever reasons you want to give" as to why it is selling well to not offend people. You don't see how Halo 3 is selling better than almost every FPS? Did you notice that Gears of War 2 came out much latter but is almost off the charts completely? Halo 3 is an exception, because all shooters released around the same time as it are long off the charts.

Basically, my point is that you shouldn't say that it is selling bad because a game that is like 2 years old is selling better, when that game is an exception.

Yea... that's been my point for this entire page. It's all refering to the sales, not quality, if that's what you were thinking...

The same reason a Mario game will sell 9-10 million while all other platformers sell 1-2M

I'm sorry....Halo IS a fun game...but it is NOT the greatest thing since sliced bread. Halo sells on name recognition, not quality, otherwise CoD 4 (360) would have blown it completely out of the water. I'll say the same thing about GTA too...it sells on its' name

I agree.  Sony say they was happy with the sales.  It don't got to do Halo 3 sales to be a big hit.  KZ2 is not a failure and it's better than Halo 3 to me anyway.

KZ2 legs are amazing.

Not to fret PS3 fans software is down all around. I am sure a big game like KZ2 will pick during the holiday season.
