In other news, Killzone exceed no expectations. HAHA

Anyone who thought this game was going to Halo, COD, or even Gears numbers were setting themselves up for disappointment.

That said, the game is at a 12% attach rate for NA. It has a 7% attach WW. So do you really think that is a failure?

Yes it didn't pull in more shooter fans like Sony wanted but that is their fault for still trying to go after them in the first place. Three shooters exclusives in the last 12 months.

Its like watching a guy keeping giving a mix cd to that girl who don't want anything to do with her. Meanwhile that cute best friend of his is getting courted by that shooter jock. Its sad...

I think killzone 1 hurt it more than anything. All the half way casual people I know aren't very willing to give it a chance simply because as they say "killzone 1 sucked"

And while it wasn't that bad.. it certainly wasn't above average either.

They should have called it "Killzone: some subtitle" or something like that.. That way people who haven't heard of the franchise wouldn't choose not to get it simply because they haven't played the first one either.

So your friends are "noobs" is what you are saying?  I and everyone I let play the game have never had any problems with the controls (mind you I am a college student and there are like 300 students in my dorm), so this "phantom" problem with the controls seems to only pertain to you and your friends then....got ya

Wow I have never seen more people complain about a game that 99% of people posting in this thread have never played. The game sold 1.56 million copies.....so how is that a flop? In my book anything over a million is a hit or at least sold more than it cost to make the game + made a profit. I guess people have more time to criticize all things Sony and no time to play this incredible game.....if you play it you just might like it.

most expectations have been 2.5 million low end to 3.5million high end. its at 1.6mil already without a single holiday season, not as heavily bundle as most were expecting yet, or a greatest hits. It will easily reach expected sales. I don't know why people want to act like thats bad. for me reaching expectations is fantastic trolls need to stop.

KZ2 might not break a million in the US until the holidays. Oh well, better luck with GT5.

Attach rates=Fail...Sony has yet to prove those percentages are relevant since it has a saller userbase.....
