^ true enough but from what i hear the game is deserving of the hype. also hype =/= sales.

anyway 360 games dont need any hype halo 3 and gears take care of 360 hype for the rest of its life

very disappointing sales for KZ2 - shockingly LOW!!

disappointing halo wars sales as well.

Also, gears 2 disappeared rather quickly compared with halo 3

Sony gaming division loss over 240 million dollars in same quarter that Killzone 2 was released.  Thats a fact.

horrible numbers for killzone 2, bad considering how hyped it was. but considering how bad the 1st game was, was expecting a decent rate of sales with this one, considering how hyped it was and how much better is was than the 1st game. still should sell around 3million lifetime, and if they dont try and say anything about halo and just work on their great game in killzone 2 for the 3rd game, then killzone 3 could do around 5 - 6 million for the game, i think. :)

Could KZ2's controls effect sales? I've seen tons of threads/posts about it on other forums. Every friend that's played the game at my house struggled with them also.
