Forums - General - Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles officially cancelled.

That's it, I'm officially never watching any new shows FOX puts up.  They have zero qualms about simply cancelling a show after ending the season in a fantastic cliffhanger.  They cancelled Family Guy (at first), Futurama, Dark Angel, Firefly, and now the best thing that they've ever made, Terminator.

"But it was because of the low ratings!"

Ever consider that the excellent ratings only dropped when you moved the show from Monday night to Friday night, when no one with a life is sitting at home watching TV?  Didn't think so.

Man, I'm SO angry right now!

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

I'm shocked Fox ordered another 13 episodes of DollHouse.

I feel you pain, they cancelled my beloved Prison Break (after this season)

They didn't cancel it, the series just ended, and frankly, that series went on too long anyways.  About the only likeable character in that series was Mahone and the rest I think they tried their hardest to make you not like them.  I only continued watching after the first season because there was nothing else in the timeslot.

As for the Sarah Conner Chronicles, the first season was incredibly but the second season just wasn't that great.  True, it was better than a lot of the shows out there, but that isn't saying much.  They tried to do the whole thing with telling mutliple stories at once and whoever was writing that show just couldn't do it very well.

I never watched the show but I hated it anyway.

Around the Network

1) Summer Glau was hot in that show

2) Although I'm a little upset at how it just ended, I had a problem with a couple things. The show pretty much nerfs the continuity of the movies; pretty much negating T3 (which I'm almost OK with, since T3 kind of sucked in a B movie kind of way). It also was going to get nerfed itself with Terminator Salvation coming out. Unless the movie people and the tv show people got together to coordinate the story, had the series continued, it would have probably caused more continuity issues.

Never watched the show surprised it lasted more then a season.

That was my other problem with the show:  towards the end there they kinda just ignored her for the most part and almost completely stopped showing her being a badass.

But how can the 18-48 year old males identify with a strong female? Clearly they all still think like men from the 1950s.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

Im not a fan of series spinned off by movies.

But Futurama! ......... I was sad And it just doesnt feel the same on Comedy Central . Thats why I got the DVDs

I feel your agony.
