Hopefully the slim PS3 and PSP Go are real, because those numbers are just shit. 360's not too good either.

The PSP, PS3 and 360 numbers are just terrible.

Serious question now......what does MS do next? Sony still have lee way with a price cut for the PS3, possibly a 360 slim?

There is plenty both Sony and Microsoft can do, but right now there is no point in reinvigorating the market, people just arn't interested.

They both need to ride the summer out.

MS have far more options on price for the 360 than sony do for the ps3, sony can't afford to bring the price down, ms can and will if that's what it takes to pick sales back up,

I honestly think we will see a £99/$99 arcade unit later this year, that would sell amazingly well, you can already get 360 arcade in the uk for £129 so could easily happen, imagine ms doing that when/if sony do a ps3 price cut, would muck sony right up lol.

I can see this happening sooner rather than later as ms will want to get as many 360's in peoples homes as possible over the rest of 2009 even if that means making a small loss on arcade units.

Hmm so next a £99 arcade model and after that a 360 for every happy meal huh? More and more it seems MS are hoping more that people in the world are poverty stricken because head to head against the PS3........no chance. If anyone says I am trolling I am going to bitch slap them back to the stone age because the numbers show that only when the price deficit is huge between the PS3 and 360 the latter outsells the former.

I'm picking up a 360 again in July so that is another sale but honestly I do not see what more they can do.

We will see as the way I see it the 360 is ahead by over 8 million units, this lead will only get larger as the months go by, be good to come back to this post in December to show I was right when the gap is then over 10 million,

And you bitch about the 360 arcade being cheap, this is a superb move in the business world, if sony could do the same on the ps3 they would JUMP at it no question but they can't so they won't, this is why the 360 will always stay ahead of the ps3, mark my words if you wish....

 How come? Before they announce Americas numbers, PS3 has 22.2 (22,200,000)Million console sold and Xbox has 30.4 (30,400,000) million. After Americas numbers were announced, PS has 22.4(22,400,000) and xbox has 30.4 (30,400,000)

So the difference is almost 200,000 and Xbox has 46,000 and PS3 has 33,000 sales for last week.

Do the math and you see that PS3 has been adjusted up and Xbox didnt go up even with the 46,000 units sold. And uou can also see the PS3 share went up to 21.8%(21.7% before adjustment) and Xbox went down to 29.6% (29.7 before adjustment)

So please dont acuse people of being liers without getting the facts first.

Fxa - you need to post some actual proof that the numbers were like that. A forum post, or something. All we have now is you making a claim.

Dude ... the 360 was at 30.28 and the PS3 was at 22.21, a 70k gap between the 2. I have my facts correct.
