this game was amazing! the ending totally got me by surprised! hopefully there will be an Infamous 2 in the near future!

Spoilers! The white part contains MAJOR spoilers towards the end of the game. Don't read unless you've beaten the whole game!

I'm glad you liked it, and I wasn't expecting the ending either. The story was great! I especially love the part when you get to the third island and you have to choose between saving Trish and saving the 6 doctors. I was in shock when I realized what Kessler had done.

I think that there will be an inFamous 2. At least, I hope so. It's sold pretty well (around .85 million, I believe?) and they totally set themselves up  for another epic game.

Wow, three posts in one day.

Come on, people, let's get this thread to 200 replies before it keels over and dies!

Ummm, You guys should read my review for inFamous!

EDIT: Seriously though, this isn't bad for an official thread. Look at machina's PS3 Best Game Guide and axumblade's PSP exclusives list. They're great threads with tons of content and don't have as many posts as some of the other threads.

Nice review, insomniac.

Whew, I finally got all the trophies!

Rather than try to hunt down the blast shards on my first time through the game, I decided to just wait till my next play through to get the evil trophies. After running through the city with a shard map print out, I was able to get 349 of them. I was extremely lucky that I found the last shard near the prison because on my good play through, I had 3 shards left to find and I had no clue where to look once I checked off the spots on the print out.

I'm having a problem with inFamous... while in the game my TV screen keeps flashing like it's running at 30 Hz or less, my eyes hurt after 15 minutes of playing. I had no such problem with the demo, no screen flashing at all, also I'm not experiencing this problem with any other game, so what should I do? Any suggestions? I'm running my ps3 atm on SDTV with 100 Hz connected via Scart.

MY HYPE LIST: 1) Gran Turismo 5; 2) Civilization V; 3) Starcraft II; 4) The Last Guardian; 5) Metal Gear Solid: Rising

WOW TWO POSTS IN ONE DAY!

Ahem...anyway, Evil is definitely more fun than Good, but in a way, Good is more satisfying. It's also definitely more difficult- no Sith Lightning, no beating people up and draining them. I played Normal on Evil, and Hard on Good. I finally got the Platinum with just two playthroughs.
