Forums - Nintendo - Nintendo Power "The Conduit" Review - 6.5

Ahhh. That's a big load off my head. I somewhat thought it was fake but didn't really know how to prove it. Thank god for quick media responses nowadays.

If i lose access to this profile as well....I'm done with this site.....You've been warned!!.....whoever you are...

Happy Wii60 user. Me and my family are a perfect example of where hardcore meets casual and together mutate into something awesome.

It's fake, they said 16 players online, but it's only 12.

Probably some ps3/xbox360 fanboys who did this.

I was so so so looking forward to the damage control

Oh well, was fun while it lasted.

I now stick to my ~90 Meta rating.

I don't think itll pull off a rating that high, I could see it around 8.7ish.

"Pier was a chef, a gifted and respected chef who made millions selling his dishes to the residents of New York City and Boston, he even had a famous jingle playing in those cities that everyone knew by heart. He also had a restaurant in Los Angeles, but not expecting LA to have such a massive population he only used his name on that restaurant and left it to his least capable and cheapest chefs. While his New York restaurant sold kobe beef for $100 and his Boston restaurant sold lobster for $50, his LA restaurant sold cheap hotdogs for $30. Initially these hot dogs sold fairly well because residents of los angeles were starving for good food and hoped that the famous name would denote a high quality, but most were disappointed with what they ate. Seeing the success of his cheap hot dogs in LA, Pier thought "why bother giving Los Angeles quality meats when I can oversell them on cheap hotdogs forever, and since I don't care about the product anyways, why bother advertising them? So Pier continued to only sell cheap hotdogs in LA and was surprised to see that they no longer sold. Pier's conclusion? Residents of Los Angeles don't like food."

"The so-called "hardcore" gamer is a marketing brainwashed, innovation shunting, self-righteous idiot who pays videogame makers far too much money than what is delivered."

wow, real sad that someone had to make a fake review. good thing I got here after it was announced fake

Why someone want to do something like this???

or HVS itself do this to build this game hype???

I just never see anything like this before. ( o_O)'

This should be viewed as a positive thing guys. The hype for the conduit is so huge people took the time to author a fake review!

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

Pretty sad that someone would make a fake..

But if the AI is bad i wouldn't be surprised. Don't forget that it is a 800mhz machine you're dealing with. I mean no disrespect but there are technical limitations.

Check out my game about moles ^

To be really honest, the AI on CoD 4 was the dumbest ever, so why did CoD4 didnt get that in Negatives?
its really dumb they stand right infront of you waiting for you to shoot them, instead of taking any action and im talking about hardest difficulty.

Wow, people will do anything nowadays to piss others off for no reason. I'm glad I came in here after it was announced as a fake.

With the glowing previews being given to this game since its inception, I couldn't fathom how Nintendo Power of all places, would give one of the Wii's biggest upcoming titles a 6.5.

I wonder how Nintendo Power will react to this, if they do at all. We'll see in their Conduit review next month.
