It's kinda a thin line to walk.  Do you let people continue to think that the game is short and only consists of one time through the 13 fighters and risk people not buying it?  Or, do you relieve people's fears about game length, but kill the surprise that is the title defense mode?  I'm a little annoyed by the fact that this was spoiled everywhere around the internet.  I was going to buy the game anyway.  I think I would have just about fallen out of my chair if the first time I learned of the title defense mode was by myself having just thought I'd beaten the game.  The simultaneous joy and frustration of getting my ass handed to me by Glass Joe would have been a classic gaming memory.

I hate when they spoil games. They did the same to brawl. I want to see how the game unfolds after I beat it.

They could have all just said, "It's not as short as it appears on the surface." and just left it at that.

Not sure what I think, really. Though there is a surprise left under embargo until the game's release, so maybe that'll be something really good too.

Pretty sure I'll get it spoiled for me anyway, though, since the game releases 4 days later here...

i think the thing is that title defnse mode is not some kinda little bonus but a leggitimate part f the main game. it's inclusion significantly affects the quality of the overall game which is what reviews are based on

2 boxers that i see in title defense now is Glass Joe and King Hippo ,it still not lower my hype at all.

And since i planned to play this game with Wiimote+Balance Board ,what is gonna decrease my hype is a review said that BB control is really bad. :P

punch out isnt a game im buying for story or anything, so no ruin for me

if it had TD or not, id buy it and beat it over and over, much like the nes one i beat a million times (and now have on vc)
