PFsthssss, the PS3 can't even play Wii Play. Now THAT is a true exclusive.

actually it can, there is wii emulator for the ps3,  we need RSX drivers for it to run right =P.

and ps3 got motion sensor, it can bowling just not pointer stuff.

I don't see anything wrong with the way these ones were stated.

The NES got a dummed down version of Strider and many other 16-bit titles got 8-bit versions so anything is possible.

A "dummed down" version isn't the same game though. I believe that's what the developers are trying to say, in their current forms, their games are impossible on other consoles.

Read my second point.  They will never know unless they break away from Sony and dare to go 3rd party.  Capcom made Dead Rising for the Wii so anything is possible if you have people with good talent.

You still don't get it, was Dead Rising: Chop till you Drop, the same game as Dead Rising was on the 360? The simple answer is no. The game was different in several ways and while it was fun on the Wii (IMO, I played it) it wasn't the same game. That's the point...

the wii version is running on a completely different engine

I take it you haven't played Wii Play.  It's entirely pointer based.

Those are fine. they aren;'t saying that i can do something that you can't.  There facts

saying this can be done only on ps3 is completely different as it is open for interpertation

The sad part is this something we see consistently for PS3 games but not any other console. I know this is in the Sony discussion section, but is anyone aware of any recent quotes about how something can only be done on 360 or Wii?

Makes me think Sony is encouraging them to talk up the system to help the perception of its console. But previous gens should prove that console strength hasn't been the determining factor for who sells the most.

I lol'd.

Try putting the Killzone 2 disc in a 360. Let me know what happens.

i had but never played it :)

Some of the qoutes are correct. The game engine as is won't run on 360. Even if you modified the CPU code to the 360 that is. However the matter is that that's because the PS3 graphics chip is inferior. So the PS3 requires more CPU/SPU power to make up for it's short comings. So porting it over means that much of the graphics overload would still be running on the 360 CPU which can't handle it. However a properly designed game that takes advantage of the better graphics chip instead of putting the extra load on the CPU/SPU.

I'm not refering to so much GPU mhz, ram or bus, I'm refering more to that the Sony is using a graphical design closer to OpenGL(last I heard) while the 360 is using DirectX10. While I like OpenGL and use it myself I can't deny that now DX is just better for graphic gpu techniques.

The comments are true to an extent, but it's not the whole story. The 360 can do a far better treatment of a graphical object than the PS3 can ever do, what the PS3 can do better is support more higher grade textures and smoothly handle more objects.
