theres less pop in than 360 version of gta4.

frame dips arnt bad at all its nothing that takes enjoyment out of the game.

Obviously there is a lack of impartiality that cannot be debated. However I applaud any developer for making it a point to try and fully utilize the hardware when they are making an exclusive game. The reality is each consoles hardware encompasses both advantages and disadvantages. The goal should always be to play to the advantages, and avoid the disadvantages.

Speaking to the rest of the video the game looks decent enough, but it isn't as ground breaking as the developer claims. We have had Assassins Creed, Crackdown, and assorted lesser known titles that play to the exact same angle. In fact I have more terrain navigation options in the game I am currently playing. Naruto the Broken Bond. The characters can do all the same terrain navigation tricks and more.

The point being that if a second or third string game is accomplishing this flawlessly it cannot be a major feature. I felt like I was watching a tech demo for Assassins Creed all over again. Just with a modern skin. I was also a little disheartened by the notion of repulsion. The element of the dangers of gravity is one of the joys of games such as these. Determining whether you can safely make that jump is one of the real thrills.

I don't know if you agree with the OPs' statement or not, not saying you do not saying you don't. First off, by your logic the developers discredit themselves because they can't make such a bold statement about one console without hands on experience on the other. However, my next statement renders the latter one moot. I don't recall at any point in this video a time where the developers of infamous claimed their game to be only possible on the PS3. This video primarily touted the game itself and not the PS3, and at times the dev touted the ps3s' power and rightfully so, it's an amazing machine.

Great job Sucker Punch for a game that looks quite impressive. An even greater job for talking about the ease which the ps3s' power provided you in creating this game WITHOUT making a statement you simply don't have the knowledge to make. All i saw was a dev team speaking passionately and excited about their work and the hardware they made it with.

About the frame rate in infamous: It often jumps to 60.
