FIFA 08, which released with the others, sold 1m units. This shows that soccer (football or whatever you want to call it) can be sold on the Wii, and if you can't make a profit with 1m units sold, then something is wrong.

EA then proceeded to kill FIFA in 09 with the All-play label, and it only managed 0.64m sales which is still respectable and capable of pulling in a profit.

Why Konami refuses to put real effort on the Wii is beyond me, but EA will reap the profits.

@blackstar - considering how many game companies are losing money hand over fist and shutting down recently... No. No we don't have to assume that these companies know what's best for them at all.

Besides, a simultaneous platform releases isn't really asking too much.

If they fix the goalkeepers and improve the animations and collisions, maybe one or two tweakes to the AI, they'll have a winner, at least for me. PES 09 was better than FIFA 09, but there's still one or two things they can't take from them to improve the already great core of PES. But the main thing is the goalkeepers

Sou um fan acérrimo do Pes, apesar do jogo não apresentar grandes novidades desde há algum tempo, Mesmo assim, digam o que disserem, Pes é incomparavelmente melhor que o Fifa. Os livres deveriam ser revistos, deveria haver uma tecla para chamar um defesa central a ajudar em caso de emergência tipo o L1 do this is football; deveria também ser mais fácil assumir uma postura ofensiva, os passes em força poderiam ser ainda mais rápidos, a câmara devia ser livre. A posição dos jogadores quando há lançamentos da linha lateral deixa muito a desejar, os guarda redes nos cantos são fracos e o som do público bem como as faixas das bancadas são péssimos. Os arbitros gostam muito de mostar cartões por tudo e por nada e marcam faltas que não existem; por outro lado, nunca se enganam nos fora de jogo!

Espero que este ano tragam novidades de jeito de uma vez por todas!!!

I am a big fan of PES, although the game does not make big news for some time, Still Pes is incomparably better than Fifa. The free kicks should be reviewed, there should be a key to call a central defense to help in an emergency like the L1 button in this is  football from ps2, should also be easier to take an offensive posture;  the strengher passes could be even faster, the camera should be free. The position of players when the ball is released from the lateral line leaves much to be desired, the keeper in the corners are weak and the sound as well as the public benches are bad. The referee loves to show yellow and red cards and he does not ever miss an off-side!!

I hope this year PES bring good news for once and for all.

I'm not sure if i misunderstood your post, but they have already done this. PES 09 was rated much better on the Wii than on the HD systems.

I dont think Ill get this one, I will wait for the next one, I already have pes2009 and 2010 will have a lot of better things, but its only a year difference and I wont have any problem laying pes2009 until 2011 arrives

i agree is not just about the graphics. the gameplay sucks, the cpu ia sucks and cheats all the time, ps1 aniamtions(goalkeeper specially), your defense sucks and make stupid mistakes, your defensive players sucks, you can make a team with strikers only and you dont feel the diference, lots of useless players stats,etc.
