Punch-Out was one of my favorite games for the NES, so many years ago, so I´m looking forward to the the new PO coming out for the Wii a few days from now..well, somehow the fact it´ll make use of the balance board passed me by till today...kotaku has an article showing how it works with the game, and it got me even more excited about this title, I just might give in and get the damn thing.

Anyway, is anyone looking forward to trying the game with the balance board?

I haven't really thought of it, but I'm definitely going to give the balance board setup a shot once I get the game. Could you throw me a link to the Kotaku-thingie where they detail it?

I'm looking foward to the game, even the Wii Remote+Nunchuck controls, however I have no interest in the balance board controls unless they do something amazing with it.

I was playing Punch-Out!! the other day, and there is no way I can lean my semi-overweight body left or right fast enough

Actually, they are wrong about not enough slots.

Blue-tooth supports 8 devices in a group, with the Wii taking 1 spot that leaves room for 7 controllers. The Balance Board displays on the 4th controller channel, and uses one of the undisplayed channels. The Wii only displays four channels, and if you have 2 Wii Remotes, and 2 Balance Boards, you can display all four of them, and you only have 6 channels used out of the 7 available.

Already have the balance board (yeah my wife made me buy it) But if not, I'd buy it!!!!

Sounds pretty cool :D The Balance Board-stuff, I mean. Though my main control setup will probably just be the regular wiimote+nunchuk one.
