-full use of the weather channel (only has been used for two games which are Nights and Tiger woods 2010)

-lacking of good 3rd party games only EA,, capcom, Sega are considered good

-no one is really is trying to use the full graphic power of the Wii TEV graphic tech. (ok HVS is but that's just one)

-Factor 5 seems dead and we'll never see a rouge squadron 4 which would show the true graphic power of the wii like factor 5 did with GCn's TEV graphic tech

-Wiiware and VC need more ads, and more games. I mean come on we are in a recession people are looking for great deals. Wiiware and VC should easily be one of nintendo biggest successes in history if all 50 million wii owners knew about it.

-no rumble for N64 games.

-Nintendo just being a little to quiet about their surprises.

-More DLC use for other games. ever since we had the 4.0 update. It should be easier download stuff right?

-players choice

-Star fox, F zero, Donkey Kong, SMG 2, Zelda wii with motion plus, Kirby wii,Mario Party with wifi,Mario golf and tennis with motion plus, weather channel useage and wi fi?

-dual layer wii games ( brawl is the only as far as I know)

-MORE FPS games (conduit looks good)

-Games missing from VC like Goldeneye, Rayman 2, DK64, Perfect Dark, Rouge squadon, Star wars games, and etc

-There is still a lot of ideas the wiimote can be used and some of them are shown in many games like Rayman raving Rabbids, Wario Ware and Mario Party 8.

- Fatal Frame 4 and a lot other things for Wii that are in Japan

-More online gaming and Wi-fi needs to be taken more seriously. If there are Wii games that have online and no lag we should see more that right.

-Full use of the Wii zapper, Balance board, Wii Speak, and wii wheel. We need more games that support these.

-2D games on wiiware since the games are cheap. Wouldn't it be nice to go retro too?

-allow people to play Wii in more store. Gamestop is lame they like to put lame wii games on the wii and give the 360 and PS3 the love.

Wii wins:

-the wii allows you  to go back in time and play your old games with a fair number of good games on VC. Gotta love retro

-Wii has enable games to play in a new way and play new genres of games

-free wi-fi

-games on VC and Wiiware are cheap 5-15 bucks.

-you can have fun with making mii's if you're an artist

-good online lag free  or almost no lag games like Medal Of honor heroes 2, Call of Duty 5, Mario Kart Wii, Excitebots, Mario Strikers charged, Dr Mario wiiware, Onsaulght, Guitar Hero, Batallion wars,and etc. These games prove Nintendo online can work fine if done right.

-SD cards are cheap. I found a 2GB card for around 10 bucks at Wal mart not long ago.

-Wii is a mood swing console. It can be all family friendly to gore wars like games on wii called House of Dead overkill, Madworld, No more heroes and etc

-Wii is bringing back old titles from the NES and SNES times like punch out.

-Classic controller is cool. I love using for SNES games.

-full backwards compatibility since the start of the gen unlike the PS3 and 360

-Sega games on VC sweet

-console that doesn't breaK  easily and  doesn't get lots of  red of rings  deaths and forces the company to extend the Warranty. I'm talking to you mircosoft

-option to play with different controls is neat.

-internet channel is very neat when using it to watch youtube videos of Arnold mad tv on my roommates big  HDtv. My roommates are big 360 fans but think it is neat that wii can surf the web.

-Nintendo channel is neat you can play DS demos and see games you might like through rating, video and etc

I love the wii and I'm  big nintendo fan but it does not mean I can't name flaws.

You're at not the first one to make a "balanced evaulation" of the Wii.

You know, I only read the cons, waiting for something like "Lolz, the graphicz" and "It's casual bitchez" but it was a very interesting view.
I think we can all aggree on many point, yet for the games we should wait the E3. Oh, and the weather channel is an awesome feature, I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks that. And it's been used sometimes: I remember Tiger Woods and Nights, for example. Not so much, but still...

Do GCN wired controllers have rumble feature for N64 games? I have no clue since I have 4 Wavebirds that don't have rumble and of course the Classic Controller doesn't have rumble.

I'll be extremely happy with my Wii (already am) once the next F-Zero comes out.

What the Wii lacks the most, in my opinion, is a library of 3rd party games consistent with a market leader console.

As much as it´s compared to the NES and PS1 in terms of expanding the market, being market leaders, etc...a few months from now, getting close to its 3rd year in the market, where are the efforts from most 3rd parties that previous market leaders had on their side by their 3rd year in the market?

I'd personally like achievements of some sort. I'm a sucker for those, even if my 360 and PS3 totals are low, because I spend much time on older systems and the Wii/DS/PSP.

Wired controllers does not work either. I hope nintendo updates the wii for that problem
