Dumb thread! But, to answer your question; Yes. If SONY can show the Slim PS3, New PSP2 and their new motion controls all at E3, or in this year, then SONY will pawn. Chances are, tho, they won't show all 3 at E3.

And, I am not excited about Microsoft's new camera controls at all! E3 will reval everything soon enough, tho.

It is just so foriegn of an idea to me that people could think of buying a 300 dollar game console, that they obvouly enjoyed, as a "big mistake."

I would, however, consider recently buying a 400+ dollar PS3 a "big mistake" since it is now the inferior version of the console, which also happened to cost significantly more.

...if there is any truth to this, that is.

That said, for sales, the Slim is far more important than a camera. For actual gaming, a console redesign means nothing, and thus, anything is better than nothing.

*cough* PS eye was a simple camera that could only track color changes in 2D while the 360's new camera system registers movement in 3D and can track multiple targets and even ignore background movements.  In other words, this is like 2 PS Eyes on steroids working at light speed. *cough*

Also, I find it funny how your friends are exactly the opposite of mine.  All my previous PS3 owning friends have since switched to the 360.  Who'd a thunk it.

If the Motion Camera is the MS big E3 bombshell, i will be dissapointed.

SONY will more than likely show off some PSeye games also, with Eye Pet + other games.

Slim will be way bigger than Motion Camera.

MS trying to slow the price war W Sony you cant drop your "Powerful" console to sub Nintendo DS levels. They are going to make a bigger play for some Wii pie.

why do people think the size of the PS3 is the reason why it's selling bad.
its not selling well because its 400 dollars and its takeing for ever
to get there frist party games to market.
even if they show the slim PS3 at E3 it wont matter
