We expect DS sales to jump to over 1m units in the United States in NPD data lifting hw sales for the month even though software will be down on a ridiculously hard comparison (GTAIV x 2, Mario Kart Wii - all did over 1m units each)
PS2 will be flat on a monthly basis from March (5 weeks) to April (4 weeks) but it increased on the price cut on a per week basis.
Wii/360/PS3/PSP will all be down on a weekly and monthly basis from March, although 360 should be up over last April, as will DS.
We expect Pokemon Platinum was the top seller, although with the rise in DS HW, 7 other DS games also charted in the top twenty. Wii had 5 titles, 360 had 6 titles. That means only PS3 game charted in the top twenty...largely because of the DS hw rise.
