In their financial report for the fiscal year of 2008-2009, Namco Bandai revealed that the Xbox 360 was their worst performing major platform in terms of software sales for that period.

They only sold 2.704 million units of software on the Xbox 360 for the whole fiscal year. The Playstation 3 didn’t do so hot either with 3.273 million units of software sold at the same period. It seems like Namco Bandai is having a tough time with the high-definition systems.

Here is their performance for software across all gaming platforms in the fiscal year of 2008-2009:

Nintendo Wii – 4.671 million units sold
Playstation 2 – 4.630 million units sold
PSP – 4.202 million units sold
Nintendo DS – 3.847 million units sold
Playstation 3 - 3.273 million units sold
Xbox 360 – 2.704 million units sold
Others – 58,000 units sold

PS2 is still a monster.

 This was the first thing I noticed on this list.  Damn near outsold the Wii. 

strange 360 fans are game whores, what games did they release... serious question

So Namco-bandai should have brought more franchises to the ps3 (after reviewing further) it just looks like they should concentrate more on the wii, ps2, and the psp since they seem to be the bulk of the profit for their company.

What games where released for each console?

The PS3 number would be much higher of the released an Ace Combat game like they did for the 360. Ace Combat was a solid series on the PS2, it would do well on the PS3.

It depends on how many games were released for each console.

Look like the playstation platform moved a ton of software for namco. Yea just keep the 360 exclusives comeing namco.
