But to answer your question: I created this thread because i'm sick of people saying that GT is so much better when its obviously not.  This quote of mine pretty much sums it up easy

"Bottom line is i don't care which one people prefer, thats their opinion and i'm ok with that...I don't care if YOU prefer GT over forza, but the people that say GT is leagues ahead of forza are just plain daft!!"

 

 

oh John please stop crying about this, I cant bear to hear it any more! What is it you don't understand? where all the anger coming from? is this anger coming from a subconcious level? lets make and example to explain to you in a context you'd understand and like , if someone asked "why do people say Halo is leagues ahead of killzone?"
I prefere killzone personally because i think its got better graphics, and seems more serious ,but I understand it can't compete with halo cause its such a wide audianced and well loved game, IT JUST IS BETTER

now replace those games with gt and forza. Gt will always be better IT JUST IS, and I think most people on here understand that, why cant you just except it? , is it because GT isnt on your favriot console?

You can't compare Halo with Killzone as they are really nothing alike

If you're goina compare something make sure both games are extremely close to each other...which Gt and Forza are.

Now i really don't know why i keep having to repeat the same thing so many times but here it is.

ok here another example of why its leauges ahead GT 10 million-14 million sales on games, and forza has sold how many? no way near as much because it isnt in the same leauge

Well they are both FPS....but thats really where the similarities end as far as i know..

But when i talk about GT being leagues ahead of Forza i'm talking quality wise, not sales wise....quality wise neither of them are leagues ahead of the other...sales wise and brand awareness GT is leagues ahead of Forza

 

quality wise there is a WORLD difference. the studio polyphony have 120 workers and they are crazy perfectionist.

forza actually was made by microsoft to be a GT copy knock it, it got released into this gen first so it had online before.

but GT5 it's getting all that, and known polyphony polish.

 

Hey can you explain to me what this "world of difference" is?

And don't just give me bullshit saying it handles better (especially since you have never played forza)

or the amount of cars it has because the difference between 400 cars and 600 cars may be alot but in the end thats still a bucketload of cars for each and doesn't make one way better than the other.

If you want you can compare GT4 with the original forza since they where both last gen...

GT fanboys only defense to defend GT is the graphics...GT5 is barley getting damage ,Forza had it back in 05:|

well in it's all about and not much about i , Forza series is mainly if not only about simulation. just look at Project Blackjack drifting videos:

or any other movies with wheeles and such. you won't see this kind of stuff in GT cause it's way too much arcade as a driving simulator and have way too many limitations while in Forza you can do everything as long as you know how to do it.

There are a bunch GT drifting vids out there.

 

If you can also explain how is GT arcade and what limitation over Forza?

I'll help. The world of difference is as follows.

Gran Turismo is currently NOT a AAA series.

GT4 = 89 on Meta.

Forza 1 GT4's direct competitor = 92 on Meta.

Forza 2 = 90 on Meta. No direct comp other than GT5P = 80 on Meta.

Forza 3 vs GT5 when they arrive.

AAA is considered as 90 or above on this site here. :)
