Does anyone have any information on Halo 3 coming to PC?

Halo 3 is one of the few 360 exclusives I really want to play, but I'd rather play it on the PC than on the 360.

did the 2nd one come to the pc even?

Yes, about 17 months after the Xbox version. It's been 20 months already since the release of Halo 3 on the 360.

ya, it was used to usher in DX10 meaning they will probably use Halo 3 to usher in DX11.

I doubt it, since Halo 2 failed to lure in any extra consumers to Vista and DX10. It was a bad move by Microsoft, and I recall they even admitted it.

If so it will probably be revealed around ODST release.

I wonder if the only reason MS doesn't do this is because they want to keep people playing on Live (where they make subscription money from players).

Are there any other reasons why they'd keep it off the PC? I'm sure the extra PC sales couldn't hurt.... so all I can think of is the gold subscription for Live.

Well Microsoft has made it pretty clear that they want to focus on their 360 lineup as opposed to PC.

if it ever comes, I think it will be when Windows 7 is already out, maybe late next year then. but I wouldn't count on it.
