That game is not using any proprietary material. It's just of a smiliar style.
Also, as far as I know, its development is suspended. The release date is getting pushed farther and farther back.

Then I don't understand why they laid the C&D on it. They are not using your IP to profit off it, they are using it for fun and to popularize YOUR OWN game that can be bought today (on the DS). What's the problem with that?
Does anyone have a copy of that rom? all I could find were demos.

I was hyping it all last year. It looks brilliant.
It's hard to maintain hope when the release date gets pushed back over and over while the company remains silent. I also looked into the personal websites of developer's staff and one didn't even list herself as part of the company. That was particularly worrisome. It tells me that the developer may have fallen apart.
Still, if the release date is still getting moved then it means that there might still be some in the project. I'm just to the point where I've decided that I'll wait till after it's released (if ever) to make a big deal of it.

So what if Square-Enix found out? SE has no case against them, and SE would definitely lose against them. The problem was that those guys didn't want to go into a legal battle that would end up costing them alot of money.

I hope it'll get released EVENTUALLY. It's bloody beautiful.
Even though the DS can do great 3D, it's projects like this that look the best on it.

Yeah why didn't they just buy the rights to that game? I mean they would have made millions on it...
