Don't have a good link (just a quote from news on themagic-box.com), but EA have apparently confirmed that Rock Band will be coming to the Wii:

"- EA confirmed that the music game Rock Band will also be coming to Wii, in addition to Xbox 360 and PS3. "

Interesting to see what they do with downloadable content (which is obviously a huge part of the game).

Opoona and Treasure Island Z is so old news Death2009

Well no specific titles, but Nintendo wishes to have more games of Take Two on the WII, especially sports games, so it seems like we will be getting some more Take Two food on the WII as well. Further details haven't been confirmed as they're negotiating at the moment.

Have to wonder if this is related to the of management/board members ;)

You would have to conclude that GTA - is almost certainly coming to the Wii. Here's hoping they do as good a job with it (or better) that Godfather did...

I think they just put the content for people to download. 360 core owners can buy memory cards for the content. Its anyways wise to buy a memory card if you want to save games on 360.

Here is an interesting one! Didn't think it was worth a thread of its own, so its here for now:

NiGHTS will be using the FORECAST channel to grab your current weather, and apply it to the game.. WTF???

Also more info on NiGHTS included:

That's so cool, to bad I'm not always online but I will be by then!

Cool but useless if the forecast channel doesn't update more than once every 24 hours.

Its almost a "new title announced every day" at the moment - here are some more Wii announcements out of Japan:

http://the-magicbox.com/gaming.htm

- Capcom has officially announced Biohazard 4 [Resident Evil 4] for Wii, the game will have a new control scheme using the Wii Remote and Nunchuck; the Another Order bonus mission found in the PS2 version; additional enemies in certain levels, and a trailer of Biohazard Umbrella Chronicles. Biohazard 4 will be available in Japan on May 31, 2007, for 5040 yen.

- Media Vision, creator of Sony's Wild Arms series, is recruiting new developers for a new Wii project. In the past Media Vision used to develop software solely for PlayStation platforms.

- UNCONFIRMED: Bandai Namco will release Beautiful Katamari and Namco Museum Remix for Wii in November and October 2007 respectively. Beautiful Katamari is the latest work of the Katamari Damacy series, and Namco Museum Remix is a collection of Namco classic arcade games.

- D3 Publisher is working on a new Wii title called Dragon Blade: Wrath of Fire, the game will be released in Japan in September 2007.

 ...

Katamari coming to the Wii is pretty cool. Most significant though, could be support from "Media Vision" - another PS only developer now supporting the Wii.

It updates much more frequently than that on my Wii? (Australia?) Maybe its dependent on the frequency of the actual weather updates from the weather provider...
