Every time I see that video I realize I should have turned the controller upside down for that much better of an effect. :-p

You're proving his point. Only people who say it's a button masher are those who never beat the game.
Case and point: twesterm only played the demo.
try LPB, Metal Gear Solid 4, Valkyria Chronicles, Flower, Warhawk, Comet Crash, and since you're getting a little ahead with the PS3's age, wait just a little for Fat Princess. All these are my particularly "unique PS3 games" and all offer experiences you won't find on any other system.
If you want innovation buy a Wii its truly a console that have changed gaming. PS3 offers similar products as 360; gaming that we all knew before, and im not saying that its a bad thing, HD consoles arent very innovative apart from graphics (because it really is hard to be innovative in this industry).
And shooters, well it is the most popular genre after all so im not suprised that there are tons of them, im a bit suprised that Sony 1st party is so shooter oriented.

I only played the demo because I didn't like the game (or demo at least). I made that video after I had already finished the demo.
The pixel junk games are some of the most innovative games seen on the console

Honestly, you missed out on a damned decent game. It's one of the reasons I'm wary of demos: they often completely fail to convey the awesomeness of the games they are attatched to.
I would like more eye-toy games, it seems I only bought it for the card game.
@Ajescent
Lair's patch adds analog stick support so it controls better.
