Soon Halo 3 will be added to the 10 million

Will the Xbox 360 hold onto its million seller lead for the rest of the year over the Wii?

Will the Xbox 360 reach 10 5M+ sellers before the PS3 reaches 5?

What do you guys think?

X360 1 million seller will be > than Wii 1 million seller for at least 1 year again. Its 1 year lead over the Wii and PS3 gives it a great advantage.

The X360 is also sure to reach 10 5 million seller before PS3 reaches 5. With the 2 new Halo titles, Modern Warfare 2 and maybe Forza 3 (on the long run) it will only miss 1 title to reach the magic number. Meanwhile PS3 only have GT5 and Call of Duty 4 (on the long run too) that will possibly reach 5 million.

Keep up the good work, as this is definitely a great source of information (and the occasional jabs ).

Also, it'd be interesting to see what percentage of million sellers (and 2, 5, 10, etc.) each console/handheld has.

For example: (as of July 31)

Million: 360 (44%) Wii (35%) PS3 (21%) / DS (74%) PSP (26%)
2 Million: 360 (48%) Wii (33%) PS3 (19%) / DS (85%) PSP (15%)
5 Million: Wii (56%) 360 (38%) PS3 (6%) / DS (92%) PSP (8%)
10 Million: Wii (100%) 360 (0%) PS3 (0%) / DS (100%) PSP (0%)

Or it could be too much work. Heck, this was for me.

That's a great idea. I may add these stats eventually like the 20 million section. Indeed it will be more work, but I could definitely add that to this thread.

It's always fun to have feedback on this thread, after all I'm doing this for you guys.

Update : Congrats to Microsoft for having his first 10 million seller ever in the name of Halo 3. Also added Wii Sports Resort in the 2 million section.

Congrats to Halo 3, the 10M club is no longer Nintendo exclusive.

but I will soon start a 20M club by the way...mouhahahahaha :P
