I actually believe Kaz is referring to sold to consumer numbers here.  There were reports back in May, and I'm sure the Sony financial reports also indicate that more than 5.5 million units have been shipped months ago.  It's hard to believe they've "unshipped" units or have had no change in the last few months.  Then again there's little to believe that if they are sold to consumer numbers that they are accurate.  Either going with VGChartz numbers or other tracking firms' numbers, there's nearly 1 million units unaccounted for.

2 this site undertracks PS3 through out Europe, cant really blame then how the hell can you know how something is selling in all of europe.

You people do realize that Kaz doesn't even have access to an accurate consumer sales report right? Even NPD is an estimate, just like VGC (albeit with more sample retailers). Even if he did, he wouldn't report it. No company ever reports anything but the amount of systems they have sold to retailers, because that's the number that looks best. Every time Nintendo, Microsoft, or Sony reports sales figures, they are reporting sold to retailers.

However, you are welcome to believe what you want.

Does anyone else find it odd that ever time someone comes in here claiming that the numbers are off they have 1 post? Are there lurkers who refuse to post because they think the site's numbers are off? If they are lurkers, haven't they seen this topic be debated once every week?
