I'm asking these questions on behalf on my 2 friends

1. Is there a list of games that you can play online free with xbox live silver?

2. do you need to update firmware to play re5 or any other games?

3. is last remnant really that unplayable if he doesn't install it in a HDD?(they both got arcade set)

1. there was a couple...idk if they are still doing it though...one was shadowrun...one was an rts, and i think the other was lost planet.

1: No (If they wanted cheapness, virtually free hardware (99$) and free online, they should have bought PS2. Xbox 360 is an expensive experience. Not for the faint of heart. PS3 fanboys already said it, Xbox360 is far more expensive than PS3, remember? :)

2: No (Every game is playable without ever connecting the 360 to the Internet.)


3: No (But I strongly suggest to get a Hard Drive. Gaming from the HDD is something they should'nt miss. Pure silence, pure disc conservation, pure shorter loading times.

Tell your friends to go on Amazon or some other site and buy some used HDDs for cheap. Even if they don't think they'll need them, it just somehow magically happens.

I had no plans of really using my HDD at all, and I was going to buy a 60gb but my friend practically forced me to buy a 120gb. I've already somehow used up about 65gb of it. It's crazy how that works!
