Tell your friends to go on Amazon or some other site and buy some used HDDs for cheap. Even if they don't think they'll need them, it just somehow magically happens.
I had no plans of really using my HDD at all, and I was going to buy a 60gb but my friend practically forced me to buy a 120gb. I've already somehow used up about 65gb of it. It's crazy how that works!
