I find it super sad when World of Crapcraft is BY FAR the most successful game on PC... Oh and counterstrike. It's like taking a trip back in time 7 years.

World of Warcraft is BY FAR the most successful game on ANY platform. Not only that, but it is also more successful than the entire MGS, Halo and GTA franchises combined. That's how big WoW is.

World of Warcraft isn't even in the league of franchises that sold over 50 M copies (You can even be cheap and add its sales with the original Warcraft). It is not the most succesful game on any platform. Mario is the have yet to be surpassed with over 200 M copies in its franchise sold, with Pokemon close behind it. The Sims has even sold more copies that WOW, are you kidding me? Half-Life has even outsold the World of Warcraft MMO franchise.

The Sims>WOW>StarCraft>Half Life>Guild Wars>Myth>Counter Strike (PC games)

WOW and Guild Wars are huge because people pay them monthly.

5. Final Fantasy (85 million)

6. Grand Theft Auto (70 million)

So megadude answer me this.. why is sony killing off pc gaming...they should be releasing all their exclusive top notch games to the pc too. killzone 2 and uncharted would be a nice addition to the pc.

And if you don't answer this post than i know you've been owned and this thread is over.

God I've already explained this a million times: MICROSOFT benefits when people choose WINDOWS over MAC or Leapard or Linux or whatever. More "games for Windows" is in MICROSOFTS interest. Much more so then Sony.

Ah but there's where your wrong.

1. The majority of people don't buy windows so they can game + virtually all pc's already come installed with windows.  Do you know what most schools and businesses have windows on their computers.  To the average person that gets windows its really not about the games.

2. Do you honestly think that pc gaming will die just because a couple of really good games didn't come out for them?  The pc has an abundance of good titles.

3.  I think this honestly boils down to you being frustrated because you are starting to understand that you'll have to shell out a couple of hundred for a 360 if you want to play the triple A games like Gears 2, Fable 2, Halo 3, and a few others.

How has nobody brought up PC piracy yet? The developers and publishers aren't stupid, they know anyone with a gaming PC capable of running the latest release games is all too familiar with bit torrent sites.

Not just privacy through the roof but hacks and aimbots are devastatingly high. You can find at least 20 hacks for each of the so so popular games.

Maybe if the PC platform were more stable for gaming, and there were less piracy, then another non-MMPRPG would be able to be more successful.
