i could care less. My preference would be the 360 winning but thats because they worked harder this gen than SONY and have come farther than anyone thought possible. But overall i dont really care

The ignorance in this thread is just simply amazing....its been over 10 years since SEGA fucked themselves in the ass from a business standpoint and SEGA fanboys are still in denial? Oh boy.

OT: Personally I want the PS3 to come in second but I also see the good in Sony coming in last.

But I see the good in it now because Sony now knows that price plays a huge part in how you do. And the PS4 won't be costing any where NEAR 600 bucks next time around.

For me it's important that at least 2 companies remain in the market. Sony has games for everyone as is widely known. Nintendo must remain for all the kids in this world.

If i had to chose, i'de say let Microsoft just drop out! They offer nothing special neither will they be missed. The Xbox360 is a deffective console and Xboxlive is trying to set up a dangerous trend, which is pay to play online.

Doesn't matter to me. My only concern is any console I buy sells enough to have sustained support from developers.

I feel all three current consoles are pretty much safe in this regard now, so I reckon we should all hit the bar, chill out, drink some beers and laugh at the idea any of us every really cared 'our' console came out on top.

I won't buy a PS3, more likely I'll get a Wii when it's under 130€, but I hope it beats XB360 because I am very worried about what MS usually does when it becomes too powerful in a market. And I agree with what Somini wrote a few msgs back, I am worried also about the trend MS tries to establish, to make people pay to play online. I'm perfectly fine about paying developers or publishers fees for massive online games or whatever game requiring significant investments for servers, bandwidth, etc, but not about having to pay MS too for whatever game I want to play online. I already pay my provider for connectivity, but I'm also free to change it if I'm not satisfied, a mandatory fee to MS without possibility to change looks a lot like protection money to me.

If Mac makes a console, Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo are going to be eaten alive. Then It would be PC vs Mac for Gaming. :o

from a consumer -me- point of view the best scenario would be a hard fight between both ending in a draw. it seems like we are on the way to it so i'm happy.

PS3 winning over x360 will only make sony haters to STFU.
