i too believe that it will be like a pendullum between microsoft and sony,
back and forth.but don,t expect sony to just up and erase that 8.mil lead
in one fell swoop,we all know that sony will finish this gen over microsoft
but the damage will already be done as more people now accept the
xbox brand as a major player.even some one time sony ps brand buyers.

I guess, because it's an uber powerful console, and it would be at "mass market" price. I still have friends (who've done no research) that say "I gotta get a PS3" or "I just don't like Xbox". They're future PS3 owners. It's anecdotal, but the Sony brand is still strong.

Especially after the MS price cut last year... Those threads and articles spread through the internet like Wild Fire.

Who knows how well it will sell, maybe it will just put PS3 back on top weekly. Maybe it will zoom pass 360. Perhaps it won't do sqwat.

I think for the first 2-4 weeks it will beat the Wii... After that just continuos 2nd place...
