I know man... I have to download the videos with a firefox extension and close firefox in order to watch mine without them being all skippy...

the videos don't look HD, they look like stretched out SD videos. in order to make real HD vodeos you need the original video to be HD, not stretching and re-enconding SD videos.

i don't think wii games benifit from HD video anyway. the standard definition at gametrailers is the same as the high definition at IGN and both are more than enough for wii games, which are 480p maximum resolution, no need for anything higher ;)

lol. I was talking about this the other day with talonman. Wii HD trailers are useless and total gimick. A low compression 480p trailer would be better and actually match the resolution.

I was downloading 720p or greater trailers at near 100MB and I would have been sooooo happy to be able to download 480p trailers at around 35MB with the same quality.




If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy
