After June 13th 2009 can we please stop the MGS4 (or +/Oxide if you will) Multiplat rumors for once and for all? This is starting to get ridiculous as we have people grasping for straws to try and prove that MGS4 will go multiplat. Hell their even starting to give birth to new rumors from a source that is extremely questionable and has ZERO credibility.
Its gotten pathetic enough that we have boycotts on a game that DOESN'T exist with a HUGE chance of the series not even going multiplat this gen. Even if you try to grasp at straws that could be considered hints that the game and series would go multiplat there is always twice as much evidence that points to it not going multi.
The Company says it's not a multi title, The creator says it's not a multi title, they have even gone to the effort of putting in Sony and Apple products (Two of the biggest rivals to MS in seperate industries) in the game with also a little tidbit of the characters making fun of Multi-Disc games and praising the capabilites of the Blu-Ray disc and little easter eggs pointing towards the Past of MGS on the PS hardware, The game has sold brilliantly with Konami and Kojima being both Extremely happy with the critical and commercial success the game and series have had with the console. Hell Kojima has even said that the MGS franchise's success is tied with the Playstation Brand.
So I ask of you after June 13th 2009 a few days after E3 and the day after the one year anniversary of MGS4 can WE please stop supporting these baseless rumors when/if the port isn't announced?
