I think The Rock needs to do more action films than kids films. I don't think he should do a movie based on a game. Those movies don't fit him. You guys know what happen last time when he did a film based on a game.

rourke would be a horrible choice as marcus fenix, he is a very bad actor.
ryan reynolds as baird is a good choice
dwayne johnson as marcus not a bad choice, he should be dom and vin diesel should play marcus ( he played a badass before as riddick ).

To be honest this should not be keeping many casting staff awake at night, any of the 80's guys would be fine Arnie, Sylvester and alike should be fine after a slight touch up. Hell even Clint Eastwood :)
