I'm brazilian, never saw a cricket match even in international tv channels. It's that popular? =B

Yeh if it is done right I would have definatly have gone for the Wii version but unfortunatly I dont own a Wii. But my cousin owns a Wii and i'm gonna convince him to get it!

No in Brazil its all about football (soccer). But in Europe, Asia and Austrailia cricket is quite popular.
Decent news, but I am more interested in EA's Cricket 09.
And Cricket is actually the 2nd most popular sport I think, despite the only test playing nations being ex-British colonies, it is the most popular sport in India

haha yer, well the PS3 does have great games which I enjoy. Luck that I also have a Wii for that occasional game that shines through the garbage.
It is a shame that Nintendo let all this garbage on, but when they didn't in the N64 days people complained that they should, to help attract developers blah blah blah and eventually get AAAA titles, well that turned out well for Wii.
they can't win either way :(

Yes its the 2nd most popular sport. I'm thirsty for a Cricket game and Codemasters are usually good with their Cricket games so this'll do!

Damn right, I don't know if the Wii is out in India or not. But if Nintendo bundled Cricket in India (i guess the other countries) and priced it right for that market ( I don't care if it costs $150 AUS), sales of the Wii would pick up greatly.
All they need in India is Tandulkar to promote the game in India and everyone will love it.

The only problem is that their games tend to just be about slogging, I prefer the slower, and more challenging, EA games
Baseball perfected the non-factor known as cricket! It's also much more fun to play in games. :)
Is it possible for fans of game X to be excited about it without some randomite trying to "party-poop?"
