We then had a convo about why on earth Brian Lara (as good as the player he has been and is) be on the front cover, there are bigger names, warney even had a game. Which in hindsight was probably called brian lara as well, it was the 97 version where you could play with beach balls with that cheat, and against all stars sides.

FINALLY.

I've been emailing EA about a cricket game SINCE the day the Wii come out In Aus every month.

LIke golf, cricket with WM+ will suit the Wii. Imaging the cut shots the pulls the straight drives etc... that you will be able to do with that precision.

I JUST HOPE THEY DON'T FUCK IT UP AND MAKE IT TOO CARTOONY>>>>

EDIT: I just read again the OP and notice Codemasters are beating EA to the punch. Good on them.

Just incase you dont know Brian Lara is on the front cover because he has scored the highest score in a test match (400 not out).

But you probaly already know that :P

I can imagine Cricket with a WM. Pulling off a few cuts and drives will make it feel alot more rewarding with the WM.

I just hope this game will sell well. Cricket popularity has declined alot since the PS1 days. The bulk of sales will come from Europe and Australia.

If the game sell 1 million on each platform it'll sell 4 million copies altogether which should do them some nice profit.

haha yer I been danicng since I read this.

I don't care if your a FANBOY or not but if you have multiple consoles like me, this game (if done right) is definetly something you must buy on Wii. Just like Tiger Wood 10 haha.
