r u sure?  have you gotten any trophies with that MAXOUT save?

from what i heard, the save has to be created under the same account the trophies will be awarded to.

I'm positive the other save worked - I tested with the simple ABC Gum trophy and got it. I loaded/re-saved with it before patching, and it told me "You can't get a trophy" on my first try but after one restart I got the trophy. I loaded up my other save where I spent 140 or so hours in and hunted some pirates and was getting trophies for those too. I heard people managed to load up/re-save after the patch, then deleted/re-installed the patch to use somebody else's data but I would know if that ends up working out or not. The patch just makes any old save data unusable with an unpatched game because the save files go from 1.6 MB to about 2.5 MB.

You have to do everything again, though - so it will still be problematic to hunt down the Baal Pirates and things like that. The LoC Item World 1-100 Trophy is separate from the Non-LoC Item World 1-100. Kind of ticked me off but I was just rushing it with my 23 move Super Dimension so no biggie.

Old save files should work - I managed to get Platinum in about a day using my old save file. I don't think Europe has the patch yet, though. Pop in the disc and check for yourself if you want to be sure.

i still haven't touched this game since i updated it ... my damn car needs to be fixed first =/
