Its a clone of Super Mario Kart (SNES).

Its also fantastic.

EA should come up with their own ideas.The only good Mario kart rip off is the Diddy Kong racing game for the N64.

the game actually look better then MK, I might buy a wii just for that game

This is not a rip off and neither was EA's Nascar Kart Racing or whatever it was called. EA is inventing a new genre with these innovative racers. My hat goes off to them.

Some say Mario Kart itself borrowed pretty heavily from R.C. Pro-Am. (I've never played R.C. Pro-Am, so I don't know.)

The GBA Krazy racers game was great and the Crash one on PSone is often overlooked but it was also on par with Mario Kart.

Just the one on PSone the rest sucked.

They've already ripped off Mario Kart with their NASCAR game. I expect they're going to go for a hat trick with Need For Speed: Nitro.
