Looking at the original source, the number of titles I don't think is new but rather how many are in the channel.

Also, since the source document is dated February 28, 2009 - could the estimate be for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2009. In other words, the time just passed?

Does anyone know how Capcom runs its fiscal year?

this all depends what titles capcom is releasing. If its for the year ending in april 2009 then it would make snese and RE5 and SF4 sold more on ps3.

However they are coo-coo if they think Dead Rising 2 will sell more on PS3. Same wil Lost plantet 2 if its multiplat. Bionic Commando could go both ways... What else is capcom working on?

I agree with Mike too, I was going to say it but I wasn't so sure about Xbox 360/PS3/Wii games, and the PSP/PS2 numbers are "interesting" to say the least (why would they REMOVE so many games from their expectations?), but the PC is indeed seeing 3 NEW games from them (although we don't know all the release dates)

Yeah, that's the part I'm interested in...the 360 is getting one additional title.  I'd assume that the other 10 are multiplats, right?  I mean, they said all their games would be multiplat, so.... is this pointing to LP2 being exclusive, or at least pushing back the PS3 version till the next fiscal period?  And if thats the case, how do they have the PS3 selling more games?

Meh Capcom will be proven wrong I mean the Wii has MH3 and two Resident Evil games.

Capcom has a new RE, MH3, Spyborgs for Wii in the March 2010 year. Monster Hunter 3 and RE together should do 2m+ in the year at a minimum for Wii and Spyborgs looks like it could do a fair amount as well.

Resident Evil 5 and Street Fighter IV will add add least another 1m units, and Capcom plans to heavily promote Monster Hunter PSP in the west.

Their full year figures will be much larger than the quarterly figures.

MH3 should have stayed ps3 exclusive or at least multiplat hd game.
