No. I think some are great (like Ralts/Kirlia/Gardevoir). Some are bad (like Whismur/Loudred/Exploud). In average, it's barely decent. What's so hard to understand about it

 

You act like the first 251 are ALL likeable.  There are always going to be Pokemon people like and Pokemon people hate.  Shouldn't suddenly make you want to play the game less.

 

They were a step backwards in terms of the portable pokemon series.An exaple is the day and night function was removed.

How dare you with Quilava, Charmeleon and Kadabra, then. Haunter is totally awesome, I beat all of Agatha's pokemons in Blue with a lv.37 Haunter. I've loved it as one of my favourites since then

compared to their pre-evo's and evolved forms, Charmeleon, Quilava and Kadabra are completely forgettable.  Haunter is one of the examples of when a Pokemon nears perfection and shouldn't evolve.

Pokemon emerald is better than crystal, and platinum in my opinion
