There's not much new in the article, the games are coming this Fall, and there will be new gameplay elements and a new monster as well.

New monsters...

Nintendo would never do that, the whole point of the Pokemon RPGs is to collect things and the more there is to collect the better (it started with pokemon now there are shitloads of things to collect in the games).

BTW what are the names going to be? I like the ring of Pure Silver and Solid Gold but I haven't seen anything official.

Currently dreaming of: DKC4 or Sonic the Hedgehog 4 (classic 2D platformers) for WiiWare, Smash Bros. for DSi, New Super Mario World for DSi, a Wii remake or true sequel of Final Fantasy Tactics.

One down, hopefully more awesomeness to come.

I don't see why they couldn't. They pretty much have the design already done. All they would have to do is remake the graphics to fit the design in 3d.
