No problem!
Just remember to check if it's legal to flash/chip consoles in your home country BEFORE going ahead with it, and just because it's legal to flash/chip your console doesn't mean downloading games/playing pirate games is legal as most country's class this as illegal (same as downloading music illegally etc), not the biggest crime in the world but still is a crime!

In other words, MikeB wants you to buy a PS3 and wants to make the PC/360 look like crap because it benefits him personally. More PS3 owners = bigger chance of profit for him.
The Xbox 360 has just as much media capabilities, especially with Windows Media Center and Netflix. Games will be nearly the same on either system. The ones you want are perfect for the 360 and you can't beat the lower price of entry to play those same games.

I forgot about those two things when I said i'd give the edge to the ps3 for media functions lol, windows media centre is superb on the 360, I have windows 7 RC on my pc and it has a much better media centre which works on the 360 much better,
Would be good if they offered netflix or something like it in the uk as it would be very popular over here,

As Words of Wisdom indicated, ps3mediaserver is the best osx program for ps3 media streaming. I've tried all the free ones as well as paid ones such as MediaLink, and nothing really compares. Not only does it stream avi files seamlessly, but it can transcode mkv/h.264 files if your computer is fast enough and is riddled with lots of features you may find of interest. It also supports subs!

Yet the OP only mentions the OS X and living in taiwan, which eliminates both Windows media center and Netflix.
So is there a point to modding/flashing a 360 other than pirated games? Does it make the 360 region free or somthing for games and DVD movies?
