A discussion on so many leagues may turn out to be a mess with all of these tables!!!!

I propose we soely talk about Aston Villa :op.

On another note, can't wait to see the champions league final, my prediction 2-0 United.

Endure. In enduring, grow strong.

Nah not gonna happen methinks.

In regards to the Champions league and Uefa\europa league\cup Uefa are very strict in over turning decisions. They will not overturn fletchers card, so I doubt they will do a replay a la Arsenal throw in!

Endure. In enduring, grow strong.

Thank you very much!

And yeah, I have no German simbols in my keyboard...you know, I'm Italian!

Thank you very much for the help, next week I'll try to make a much better thread, I swear!

This week will be a great week: both Barcellona and Inter will win their leagues. I especially hope the Inter will win this week because it would mean we defetead the Milan. After the purchase of Diego, I trust in the future much more than before. We need to sell Trezeguet, Poulsen, Zebina, Camoranesi. 20 milion, at least, plus the other 20 from the Champions. We'll have 40 milion, for a defender and a midfielder. My dream? Xabi. Something like:

Sissoko Marchisio Xabi Alonso

Diego

Del Piero Amauri

Would be amazing.

Your welcome! I think it's too soon to congratulate you on the Diego-transfer. You know that Tuttosport and La Gazetta dello Sport tend to be overexcited, so until Werder doesn't say they've agreed, I don't believe it

Italian football will need two good years - otherwise the fourth Champions-League-place will go to Germany. And I hope and think that's what's going to happen :P

Yeah, of course I know I cannot get too excited: Tuttosport is the Italian Marca and La Gazzetta Dello Sport is terrible. But Sky Sport itself said they got the deal, so I actually think there's something up. They got a lot of news, like Beckham, Poulsen and so on.  Furthermore, Cobolli Gigli himself said they had managed to get much closer to taking Diego to Turin, so yeah, I hope we'll finally buy him.

The second part is pretty sad for a proud Italian like me, yet it's true: we lack good teams able to win overseas. The Werder will probably win the UEFA Cup, so yeah, we're pretty screwed for this year. I'm not too scared for my Juve (If we get under Fiorentina, Roma, Genoa or Lazio we will not deserve to take part in the Champions), but for the whole Italian football. We couldn't create a new cycle after the last World Cup, Donadoni was a terrible coach and this Lippi is probably even worse (WE PLAY WITH PEPE, DO YOU KNOW HOW TERRIBLE HE IS?), while our clubs were slowly getting worse and worse. Yeah, the Milan won the Champions, but let's face it, they were lucky: they played pretty bad against the Celtic, they met the worst Bayern of the last 10 years (At the very least) and they played even worse than the Roma at the Old Trafford yet they scored 2 goals. And the final was...ugh...terrible. Liverpool deserved to win so much more than them!

We don't have any good team which could win the Champions: the best Italian team, the Inter, has a terrible player as its main player, Ibrahimovic. When it matters, he never plays good. If you support Werder, do you remember how bad he was against you 3 years ago? If you support Bayern well, you probably could think of him as a good player, since he scored against you at the Allianz Arena and made a marvelous dribbling the previous year to make Del Piero score, but overall he is terrible. The Milan, this year, unless they're as lucky as 2 years ago, cannot win or go over the last 16, since it's a terrible team. My beloved Juve cannot win, yet we're the best Italian team for the Europe: we usually play well the most important matches (Real Madrid, Chelsea this year) and we have Alex, but he cannot play 50 matches like this year. He needs to rest sometimes. So yeah, in a couple of years, you'll have 4 teams in the Champions League. Cannot wait to meet te Wolfsburg!

Diego is a great player, the problem is his father, who always gets too greedy and wants more and more. If you sign him, which I think will happen, you should remember my words if he starts bitching, that there are just 20.000 per game at the stadium (this might get better with the new arena) and he has to play teams like Lecce etc. all the time...

As a part-time student, part-time sports journalist, I know how to put La Gazetta, Tuttosport, Marca etc. if it comes to seriousity In the Diego case I reckon: Yes, you'll sign him.

Don't be too excited about Wolfsburg. They just became big because of Volkswagen, which sits in Wolfsburg (it's kind of like Juve with the Agnelli dinasty but minus the fans). If they're in the Champions League they'll just be a shadow in the next year. Teammanager Felix Magath has already signed with Schalke and atm the squad looks like the best players are leaving. So I doubt, that they might even win more than 1 game in the CL. The best thing about German football is the attendance (the highest average per game attendance of every football league in the world) and that every team is able to beat every other team in the league with just a few exceptions.

My team is Bayern. We just went trough an average year with Klinsmann, let's see if Heynckes will get us the championship in the end.

How about the Italian league has the low attendance rate become better in the last couple of years or even worse?

You know, I like Wolfsburg just because of the shirt: I love green and I like the Volkswagen Arena. Nothing more, seryously.

Anyway, I have some relatives from Munchen: I have been there once, back in the 2006, and it's a freaking amazing city. Awesome beer, an amazing square with the famous clock and the municipium. Munich is amazing, period. I love it. Furthermore, the Allianz Arena is the first big stadium I have ever been in, so I love it. I had a very good pretzel there (My gosh, I dunno how to write it. German is pretty though to write down, you know?), I still can recall it very well. I'm sad that this year was so terrible for you, since I like Bayern. Yeah, I guess we are in the same ship...at least you got to the last 8 I guess.

The attendance problem here is about how we see a stadium: it's thought as a bad place where a father isn't supposed to take his children to spend a sunday. And it's a terrible idea. Of course we have a lot of bad fans here, like Lazio's, Livorno's, Catania's, Atalanta's, Roma's and so on.
The main problem is in Rome itself: ever single week you hear someone got stabbed yet none does something about it, cause it's Rome and so it's untouchable. Anyway, a lot of journalists like threatening it as an huge problem, while none is interested in taking decisions about it. Sky is getting pretty strong and the main teams are in the northern part of Italy: I live 700 kms far away from Turin, how am I supposed to follow my team?
In the Serie A, among the southern teams, we have Reggina (Reggio Calabria), Palermo, Catania, Lecce, Napoli and Cagliari. 6 out of 20. A lot of the people living in these places are forced to watch the matches trough Sky and cannot go to the stadium. But that's not a very big deal.
The main problem is the stadium itself: for the most of them, you have bad buildings, dirty, ugly and with that terrible field around the pitch. We need to do a lot in order to take people back to the stadium and I think that these are our 3 biggest problems.

I'm very happy to be able to speak with such an expert, anyway. And I'm even happier to see how you confirm that Diego is coming to Turin!

Anderson has scored once playing in Brasil team :P

but, this year, the brazilian league has big names, like Ronaldo, Adriano and Fred.
there will be great matches! xD

There ok players but i mean Adriano couldnt cut it at Inter Milan. Ronaldo was too fat to run at Real Madrid and Fred, Fred is my next door neighbour.

lol

Fred played in France, Lyon team. But i guess he's a good player, thats it. Adriano, i'll wait. As a Flamengo support, i remember the other time he played here.

And Ronaldo, he's not that fat anymore. I guess he will play the Confederations Cup, you will see him and remember the 2002 World Cup Ronaldo. ;D

This year the Confederations Cup will be amazing: in one league you have Spain, Italy and Brasil.

Amazing.

Which is the fourth team?
