Yeah, of course I know I cannot get too excited: Tuttosport is the Italian Marca and La Gazzetta Dello Sport is terrible. But Sky Sport itself said they got the deal, so I actually think there's something up. They got a lot of news, like Beckham, Poulsen and so on.  Furthermore, Cobolli Gigli himself said they had managed to get much closer to taking Diego to Turin, so yeah, I hope we'll finally buy him.

The second part is pretty sad for a proud Italian like me, yet it's true: we lack good teams able to win overseas. The Werder will probably win the UEFA Cup, so yeah, we're pretty screwed for this year. I'm not too scared for my Juve (If we get under Fiorentina, Roma, Genoa or Lazio we will not deserve to take part in the Champions), but for the whole Italian football. We couldn't create a new cycle after the last World Cup, Donadoni was a terrible coach and this Lippi is probably even worse (WE PLAY WITH PEPE, DO YOU KNOW HOW TERRIBLE HE IS?), while our clubs were slowly getting worse and worse. Yeah, the Milan won the Champions, but let's face it, they were lucky: they played pretty bad against the Celtic, they met the worst Bayern of the last 10 years (At the very least) and they played even worse than the Roma at the Old Trafford yet they scored 2 goals. And the final was...ugh...terrible. Liverpool deserved to win so much more than them!

We don't have any good team which could win the Champions: the best Italian team, the Inter, has a terrible player as its main player, Ibrahimovic. When it matters, he never plays good. If you support Werder, do you remember how bad he was against you 3 years ago? If you support Bayern well, you probably could think of him as a good player, since he scored against you at the Allianz Arena and made a marvelous dribbling the previous year to make Del Piero score, but overall he is terrible. The Milan, this year, unless they're as lucky as 2 years ago, cannot win or go over the last 16, since it's a terrible team. My beloved Juve cannot win, yet we're the best Italian team for the Europe: we usually play well the most important matches (Real Madrid, Chelsea this year) and we have Alex, but he cannot play 50 matches like this year. He needs to rest sometimes. So yeah, in a couple of years, you'll have 4 teams in the Champions League. Cannot wait to meet te Wolfsburg!

Diego is a great player, the problem is his father, who always gets too greedy and wants more and more. If you sign him, which I think will happen, you should remember my words if he starts bitching, that there are just 20.000 per game at the stadium (this might get better with the new arena) and he has to play teams like Lecce etc. all the time...

As a part-time student, part-time sports journalist, I know how to put La Gazetta, Tuttosport, Marca etc. if it comes to seriousity In the Diego case I reckon: Yes, you'll sign him.

Don't be too excited about Wolfsburg. They just became big because of Volkswagen, which sits in Wolfsburg (it's kind of like Juve with the Agnelli dinasty but minus the fans). If they're in the Champions League they'll just be a shadow in the next year. Teammanager Felix Magath has already signed with Schalke and atm the squad looks like the best players are leaving. So I doubt, that they might even win more than 1 game in the CL. The best thing about German football is the attendance (the highest average per game attendance of every football league in the world) and that every team is able to beat every other team in the league with just a few exceptions.

My team is Bayern. We just went trough an average year with Klinsmann, let's see if Heynckes will get us the championship in the end.

How about the Italian league has the low attendance rate become better in the last couple of years or even worse?
