Forums - Sales - Wii Music has sold 2.65 million

Don't worry, there are other games that Nintendo will prioritize before making a sequel to this.

It's not even close to being the best selling Wii game, it's been outsold by many core franchises and it has been received poorly by critics and a considerable group of gamers, so it's safe to asume we will be seeing many other games before this even makes a comeback, if it ever does.

Pandora's Tower will have an opening week of less than 37k in Japan. (Won!)
Pandora's Tower will sell less than 100k lifetime in Japan.
Stakes: 1 week of avatar control for each one.

Hahah what a great thread, makes me all warm and fuzzy inside knowing so many "gamers" hate this game and how much it have sold.

I bet not even a 1/4 you have even played this game adn you who have can't have played it more then 1-2 hours and then finding out it was too hard for you.

this, Wii Music is first game for trully hardcore gamers that can spend hundreds hours on this title to achieve somethin.

Great troll or the greatest troll?

Chill.He is just using sarcasm.

I'm glad it didn't outright flop but also very glad that it didn't sell at the same levels as Wii Fit because then there would be nothing but more casual-focused games on the wii for the next few years.

Wii Music could undeservedly end up selling 5 million copies ltd when it stops selling. Wii Music may be a mediocre game in terms of quality but it sells extremely well.

Your right, it should atleast sell 10 million but most gamers are two casual to ever put enough time in to realize how good Wii Music is, they can go back to blasting people away in Halo and Killzone.

see what I did there? It's actually kinda true, but I do want to point out that Halo and Killzone are awesome games, they are however part of the FPS genre which by its very nature very shallow (much shallower than a game like Wii Music for example).

Please go play Team Fortress 2 or Left 4 Dead against good opponents and then tell me those games are shallow. I also seem to remember you making a rediculous insinuation about FPS games recently as well that makes it hard to take you seriously.

lol, since when mindless shooters are any deep? you're really comparing game that demand from you training and hours of practice to mindless online shooters that you can master in 5 minutes?

every shooter like L4D or Team Fortress is a shallow game no mater how you will look at them - only fps games that are deep are games like Operation Flashpoint were you actually have to think and not just run'n'gun everythink that moves.

i hope we will see Wii Music 2 with DLC ability and with more diversity in music(i want newer tracks from diffrent genres) cause it's one of mine favorite games this gen - trully innovative, addictive and challenging.

I still think Wii Music looks like loads of fun, so I'm happy it's sold well.

"Looks" and "is" are two different things.

Oh, so you've actually played it and hate it? Cool.

I played it at gamestop. Its a terrible game.

So you're basing your opinion upon what, at most 15 minutes of playtime at a gamestop? I'm sure that's very credible. I own the game and I enjoy it very much, it's one of the few games of which whenever I see someone else playing it, I have this enourmous urge to join them. I don't know why, but it's a fun game to experiment with in single player, and a blast to butcher, or attempt to recreate amazing songs with multiple people.

Looks like i have a lot more people on my side. 43 professional reviewers, 77 users, and the rest of the internet.

And yet....2.5 million people thought the game was good enough to buy....looks like he has more people on his side.

What about the 45 million Wii owners who didn't buy it?

Ha.

lol

Simple. Games I like are deep. Games you like that I don't are shovelwares.

that is just plain ignorance - since when games about shooting as many people as possible deep?

Left 4 Dead has some depth but I'm not sure I'd call it a deep game.

TF2 however has lots of depth and gets deeper with every update. I've yet to play an FPS that allows as many tactics and strategies as TF2, not sure if their is one. I agree that most FPS are just point and click games.

As for Wii Music I haven't personally played it but knowing Nintendo I'd be suprised if it doesn't have any depth.

Underlined and bolded for emphasis.

Pretty said that you make a thread just to bash a game you don't even own. Quit getting angry at people disagreeing with your method or just you in general.

PS. LBP has a 6.3/10 from user score. Halo Wars 6.8. Gears 2 6.1.
Resistance 5.7. They must be terrible games.
